Grandpa and Grandma Came to Visit

In October we got a special visit from Clem and Rita. The stayed with us for a long weekend and then headed to CT to visit the Singers there. It was so fun to have them here and such a great time for Felix to spend time with them.

Grandma brought Felix this awesome Mega Blocks bus. (Grandma gives the best presents!) Felix really enjoyed playing with his Grandparents and showing them all his awesome toys

One of the days they were here we took them to Three Cedars Farm and played and had homemade donuts and pressed cider. I wish I had gotten more pictures of all of us there. Most of the ones I have are of Felix since it was hard to point the camera away from him because he was sporting a big grin the entire time! 

We loved having Clem and Rita here and loved being able to show them around Ann Arbor!

Our Fall - In Pictures

Ok so now that I've finished blogging about our summer adventures...here's what happened next

We drove home to Ann Arbor, MI. Felix did fairly well, but traveling with kids is hard whether you're flying or driving!

       

We moved all our stuff out of storage and into a new (to us) student housing apartment. We moved to a different complex than we were in last year to be closer to friends! 

Unfortunately our new place does not have central AC like our last one, so we had a few weeks before the weather started cooling down. So we had to come up with ways to beat the heat...wearing as little as possible and going to Costco! (their produce fridge was heavenly)

We played outside a lot. 

In September I celebrated a birthday and Phil bought me an orchid plant and new shoes (which Felix is modeling for you!)

In early October Felix and I flew to Charlotte, NC to visit the Moss family. Julia gave birth to Clara Helen a few weeks earlier and I couldn't pass up a chance to snuggle her!
