There have been a lot of new things going on in our household in the past few weeks. I guess the biggest new thing being that we are now living in Ann Arbor, MI! I don't think we ever posted about this here on the blog, but Phil decided on the University of Michigan for grad school. He got into a lot of different schools, but ultimately Michigan ended up being the best fit. So here we are! Phil's been doing orientation this week and will start classes next week.
We're living in family student housing which couldn't be any more convenient for Phil. He hops on a UofM bus right outside our parking lot and about 15 minutes later it drops him off right outside his building. The apartment is a two-story, two-bedroom town-house type apartment. The basement is not finished, but there's tons of storage space and a washer and dryer down there. Here are some pictures of our place.

Our front room. We love the amount of light the glass doors allow into the apartment!
The kitchen. It's small and there's no dishwasher, but it has a stove and oven!
And we finally have a crib for Felix! (he's been sleeping in his pack n' play, which worked quite well) We stole the crib from Brian and Erin, and Phil's Dad repainted it. Doesn't it look great!? Up on the wall are some framed pages from a used Curious George book. Very cheap nursery art!
Felix has adjusted really well to the move. Here's what he's been doing lately...
Falling asleep and drooling on Dad
Taking a walk on campus (Felix seems to prefer chewing on his burp cloths rather than his toys!)
Getting all dressed up for church
Playing in his new (well, new to us) jumperoo!
Chewing on his hands any chance he gets!
